I've been teaching 5th grade for over 20 years, and still love my job.  I love to read, travel, and spend time with my family.  5th grade is a busy year! We work hard every day in school.  There are a few things students can do for themselves that will make learning easier.  1) Study multiplication facts every night!  Being quick and accurate is the goal.  2) Read for 15 minutes each night.  This improves fluency and comprehension.
